G. Magni Ágústsson has been working as a Director of Photography in the last decade, after working himself up the ranks in the camera department in Iceland. Magni has shot numerous commercials and music videos all over the world. He has also shot a number of feature films including Eleven Men Out (dir. Robert Douglas), Last Winter (dir. Larry Fessenden), Royal Wedding (dir. James Griffiths) and Undercurrent (dir. Árni Ólafur Ásgeirsson), as well as several award-winning shorts, including the Oscar nominated The Last Farm (dir. Runar Runarsson), Frances (dir. Anastasia Kirillova) and Come to Harm (dir. Börkur Sigþórsson). Magni shot Heima on location in Iceland, a music documentary about the homecoming tour of SigurRós, which was nominated for Best Cinematography in the Icelandic Film Awards Eddan. He also has shot the U.K. television series, Free Agents (dir. James Griffiths). Currently Magni is shooting commercials and music videos in the U.K.
